STUDENT COMMITMENT TO EXCELLENCE
RTN students should possess a commitment to excellence in every area of life, possessing a level of maturity that enables God to entrust them with the calling to which He has appointed them. Each RTN student is expected to commit to pursue a standard of excellence by doing the following:
  • Daily time spend in God's presence through prayer, the Word of God, worship, and devotion
  • Pursue academic excellence and integrity
  • Cultivate positive social relationships
  • Live a lifestyle that promotes peace and edifies the body of Christ
  • Exercise good citizenship and stewardship
  • Maintain as a way of life the New Testament standards of moral, ethical, and spiritual purity
  • Abide by the established standards of Reach The Nations Global Ministries Network and its School of Ministry understanding that a disciplined lifestyle is an integral part of development.

Standard of Conduct:
Students will seek to walk in Kingdom character and power as children of light pleasing the Lord in every good work (Ephesians 5:1-12).  This standard governs our personal and public life.

Attendance:
Students are expected to attend classes regularly and punctually.  During any trimester, the maximum number of absences permitted is three (3) days.  Exceptions to this policy will be made only for extreme circumstances and emergencies.  If a student's absences and tardiness total more than twelve (12) days a school year,  it is likely that the student will not be able to take the final exam and will not receive a final grade.

Discipline of Students:

The freedom of Reach the Nations Kingdom Academy environment requires a high level of self-management. Any student struggling to make wise choices will receive quick and direct admonition, which is designed to help draw out the greatness within the student. Our staff and pastoral teams are trained and empowered to apply strength and grace in whichever areas necessary of students lives.

Once enrolled, each student should carefully read the policies and rules outlined in the Student Handbook. If a student's attitude, conduct, speech, or behavior conveys failure to comply with RTN's standards, the following disciplinary procedures will apply:

The student will be required to meet with the Student Life Department to discuss accountability. Failure to respond to correction will result in the student being placed on probation or possibly dismissed.  A lack of improvement during the probationary period may result in immediate dismissal.

RTN Kingdom Academy reserves the right to dismiss any student who is unprepared to comply with RTN discipline policies.  A student may submit a written appeal for any nonacademic dismissal to Student Life within twenty-four hours of dismissal. The appeal must include written, detailed documentation verifying the student's circumstances. Student Life will process all appeals and determine re-enrollment requirements, if applicable.

Withdrawal:
Any student who wishes to withdraw from Reach The Nations Kingdom Academy must arrange an appointment with the Dean of Students to discuss the reasons for withdrawing
from the School of Ministry.  For tuition refund information, see the section under Financial Information.

Non-Discriminatory Policy:
It is the policy of Reach The Nations Kingdom Academy to provide equality of educational opportunity.  The Academy
does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, age, sex, marital status, disability, veteran's status, national or ethnic origin. This nondiscrimination policy covers admissions, employment, and access to and treatment in all school programs, services, and activities.
